Oak Terrace Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Simpson as General Manager succeeding General Manager Katie Ohmes. His move from Marketing Director comes after a year at the Resort driving results and elevating guest experiences. He brings over 20 years of business management and marketing experience which places him in an excellent position to take on this new challenging role.

Simpson grew up in Mt. Zion, IL where he currently resides with his wife Kerri. They are the proud parents of two children and four beautiful granddaughters. “I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our devoted team of Department Managers as we begin a bright new chapter in the Oak Terrace Resort story,” said Simpson. “I am truly humbled and honored for the opportunity to work with such a highly respected organization.”
The appointment will allow Katie Ohmes, current General Manger, time to focus on the Real Estate development and growth to our ever popular Resort community. In addition to driving Resort Real Estate sales, Ohmes will promote the development’s newest opportunity with Oak Terrace Resort Home Builders. She is a licensed Managing Real Estate Broker, and has worked in real estate sales for more than 15 years.

Ohmes and her husband, Scott resides at the Resort along with their 4 young sons. “I grew up here, my kids are growing up here… our family’s roots here are deep. What my Grandparents started here in the 1960’s is ever evolving into the vacation and retirement community it was designed to be. I am so very proud to be such an intricate part of the continued development of my family’s Resort.”
